- Duo-phony per track! sorry I'm saying this everywhere, but it would rule!
- All Arp parameters p-lockable (pretty sure that's coming though)
- And, this is a pretty small issue, but faster scrolling through letters when naming in function mode.

Having said all this the A4 is pretty much perfect

+1 duo-phony !
+1 polyphony !!!

unitl this i found a little free VST plugin that does this :
midiPolyphony
http://www.thepiz.org/plugins/?p=pizmidi
"For spreading polyphony across MIDI channels, i.e. if you play 4 notes, each one will go to a different channel. Polyphony per channel can be set from 1 to 16 notes for more flexibility. You can also use it to convert polyphonic input to monophonic output."

There is also the Midipal (in Dispatcher mode)
http://mutable-instruments.net/midipal

(not tested... I have not yet received my a4)

Just to put these in this thread:

-Portamento ability to use in sequencer as it does with kb (slide on every note without using 'slide' which doesn't retrigger EGs)

-live record note pitch and length from knobs not just kb

+1 sine wav osc
+1 to per track scaling multiplier
+1 arp params p-lock

And to discombabidalutaed or whatever: there is currently pattern clone. When selecting patterns, keep holding then hit copy/paste.

Hi!

It would be nice to implement shortcut for selecting sounds for tracks by double tap on track button. This feature is already implemented in Octa -- double tap on track and the list of available samples appears. You have to just select one and press YES button to confirm.

In current implementation you have to press Func + Sound (two hands are needed) -> select "Load track sound" menu item by arrows -> press Yes to open the sound list -> select needed sound by arrows or knob -> press Yes to confirm. IMHO this way to perform such simple operation is extremely long and tedious, especially in live performance conditions.
The next sequence would be much better: double tap track button -> select sound -> press YES to confirm.

Another +1 to per-track scaling multiplier.

I've been sequencing midi via the MD, as an experiment, and I can see how incredibly useful it would be to have some tracks (pads etc.) running at fractions of the speed of the rest of the sequencer.

I think I'm pretty much sold on the A4 anyway... and now that my tax bill is paid I think I have enough left to afford it!.
